Job Title: Senior Associate Criminal Litigation.

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience: Minimum 5 Years.

We are looking for a seasoned legal professional to join our litigation team as a Senior Associate with a focus on criminal matters.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in handling white-collar crimes, paper-based offenses, and matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

This position demands courtroom proficiency, a strategic mindset, and a thorough understanding of criminal law procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent clients in criminal cases before various courts and tribunals.

- Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and analyze evidence for white-collar crime matters.

- Draft and review legal documents including complaints, affidavits, responses, and pleadings related to paper-based offenses.

- Lead Section 138 cases from initiation to conclusion, ensuring timely filing and representation.

- Liaise with clients, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory authorities.

- Prepare briefs, advise clients, and manage hearings and trial proceedings.

- Mentor and guide junior associates within the litigation team.

Desired Candidate Profile

- LLB from a recognized university; must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India.

- At least 5 years of dedicated experience in criminal litigation.

- Strong background in white-collar crime and Section 138 proceedings.

- Exceptional drafting and communication skills.

- Proficient in criminal procedure and comfortable handling matters in sessions and magistrate courts.

- Self-motivated and capable of handling complex matters independently.

- Sound judgment, discretion, and client management skills.
