
Role Purpose:
The HR Strategy & Excellence Lead will act as a strategic partner to the CHRO Office, driving enterprise-wide HR transformation, governance, and execution excellence. This role will ensure alignment of HR strategy with business priorities, enable data-driven decision-making, and deliver high-impact process and capability transformation across the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Transformation:
- Lead and execute large-scale HR transformation programs (workforce strategy, talent, skills, operating model evolution).
- Drive continuous improvement and modernization of HR processes, systems, and frameworks.
- Translate business strategy into actionable HR initiatives and roadmaps.
2. CHRO Office Partnership:
- Act as an extension of the CHRO Office, supporting strategic planning and execution of priority initiatives.
- Develop leadership-ready insights, board presentations, and executive communications.
- Support decision-making through structured problem-solving and analytics.
3. Process Excellence & Governance:
- Establish governance frameworks, operating cadences, and review mechanisms across HR.
- Drive standardization, efficiency, and scalability across HR processes.
- Track key metrics, ensure delivery discipline, and build accountability mechanisms.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with HR CoEs, HRBPs, and business leaders to ensure alignment and execution of the HR agenda.
- Influence senior stakeholders through strong storytelling, insights, and data.
- Drive cross-functional integration for enterprise initiatives.
5. Data & Insights:
- Leverage workforce analytics to generate actionable insights and inform decision-making.
- Build dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks to monitor HR effectiveness.
- Enable predictive and forward-looking workforce planning.
6. Internal Communications & Employee Engagement:
- Define and drive the HR internal communication strategy.
- Partner with the CHRO Office and leadership to craft clear, consistent, and high-impact messaging.
- Develop communication frameworks for key HR programs (transformation initiatives, change rollouts, policy updates).
- Enable executive and manager communication to strengthen employee engagement and alignment.
- Drive storytelling to position HR initiatives, employer brand, and organizational culture effectively.
- Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication and engagement interventions.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- 16+ years of experience in HR, with significant exposure to HR Strategy and Transformation roles.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale HR process or operating model transformation.
- Experience working closely with CXO/CHRO Office or in a Chief of Staff/Strategy role.
- Strong understanding of HR domains, including Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Organization Design, and HR Operations.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience working closely with the CHRO, CXOs, or in a Chief of Staff/HR Strategy Office capacity.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute is preferred.
- Preferred IT Industry knowledge.
