Job Title: HR Process Specialist (Org Design & Talent Strategy Consultant)
Duration: 3-4 Months (Contract / Consulting Assignment)
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Process Specialist to support a short-term strategic engagement focused on organization design, talent strategy, and capability development. The ideal candidate will bring a consulting mindset and hands-on experience in organization structuring, role sizing, capability frameworks, and workforce planning.
This is a strategic HR consulting role - ideal for professionals with experience in Big 4 or HR advisory firms who can independently drive design and analysis across multiple HR dimensions.
Key Responsibilities:
Organization Design & Sizing:
- Assess current organization structure, roles, and reporting layers.
- Recommend optimized org design, span of control, and role alignment.
- Conduct org sizing and workforce benchmarking to ensure efficiency.
Talent Strategy & Development:
- Define a training and development plan for multiple stakeholder groups.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
- Build career path frameworks aligned with business needs and role families.
Talent-to-Value Mapping:
- Identify high-impact roles that drive business value.
- Assess talent readiness for critical roles and propose succession / development actions.
Hiring & Workforce Planning:
- Create a hiring strategy aligned to org structure and future capability requirements.
- Recommend sourcing mix (internal mobility, lateral, campus, contract).
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with business and HR leadership to diagnose issues and co-create solutions.
- Present insights, frameworks, and recommendations in a structured, data-backed manner.
Desired Profile:
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience in HR strategy, organization design, or talent consulting.
- Background: Preferably from Big 4 or leading HR consulting firms (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Aon, Mercer, Korn Ferry, etc.).
- Strong understanding of organization design principles, talent management frameworks, and HR process transformation.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
