Young Talent Management Portfolio - HR Manager, Aditya Birla Group


We are hiring for a high-impact role within the Young Talent Management (YTM) vertical of the Aditya Birla Group, headquartered at Worli, Mumbai. This role is central to managing the early career journeys of participants in ABG's prestigious leadership programs, including the Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs (ABGLP) and the Group Internship Program (GIP).

Job Purpose

The YTM portfolio develops high-potential talent hired from India's top campuses and prepares them to take on future leadership positions across diverse ABG businesses. This role provides Group-level exposure, multi-stakeholder engagement, and the opportunity to influence the careers of India's most promising young leaders.

This role reports to: Portfolio Head - Young Talent Management (YTM), Group Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

Career Management:

- Conduct structured career conversations with all ABGLPs.

- Support strategic career moves and placement decisions post Year 1.

- Map aspirations with organizational leadership requirements.

Talent Management

- Manage execution of Stint 1, 2, and 3 across multiple ABG businesses and geographies.

- Drive mid-year reviews, confirmation processes, and performance management cycles.

- Curate meaningful cross-functional projects aligned with business demands.

Learning & Development

- Work with Gyanodaya and business HR to design targeted learning interventions.

- Drive innovative learning formats and implement annual training calendars.

- Facilitate nominations for national competitions and external development forums.

Engagement

- Lead engagement initiatives such as induction programs, summits, happy hours, outbounds, and CSR stints.

- Drive pre-joining engagement for new batches of ABGLPs and GIPs.

- Work with vendors to execute high-impact engagement and collaboration activities.

Special Projects & Collaboration

- Partner with Group portfolios such as Talent Staffing, Talent Management, Rewards, Legal, and Corporate Communications.

- Strengthen social media branding and campus outreach narratives.

- Improve policies, structures, and processes across the YTM ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong HR foundation with a passion for leadership development and talent management.

- High stakeholder management capability; ability to work closely with CXOs and multiple business HR teams.

- Excellent project execution, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Experience in structured programs, learning design, or early career talent management is an advantage.

Team Environment: 3-4 member core YTM team
