Job Title: Manager - HR (Factory)

Location: Pantnagar (Uttarakhand)

Experience: 8-10 Years

Qualification: MSW / MBA in HR from reputed institutes

Industry: Manufacturing / Plant Operations

Work Mode: On-site (Factory-based role)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic - HR Manager - Factory- to lead the Human Resources function at our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations, statutory compliance, contract labour, workforce planning, and engagement activities to ensure a harmonious and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Engagement

- Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes

- Conduct investigations and ensure adherence to company policy and labour laws

- Drive employee engagement and welfare programs

- Manage R&R processes, exit interviews, and feedback mechanisms

Statutory Compliance & Contract Labour

- Ensure full compliance with labour laws, Factories Act, and statutory filings

- Oversee contractor attendance, billing, and compliance documentation

- Liaise with legal, finance, and government bodies as needed

Workforce Planning & HR Operations

- Collaborate with plant/unit heads for manpower planning and AOP

- Ensure timely recruitment and onboarding of GETs, diploma holders, and lateral hires

- Maintain HR MIS and ensure HR data accuracy

CSR, Canteen & Welfare Management

- Oversee plant-level CSR initiatives and welfare activities

- Manage canteen and guest house operations for workforce satisfaction

Team & Stakeholder Management

- Cascade HR goals to the team and track performance

- Liaise with Corporate HR, Finance, Admin, and Plant Heads

Requirements:

- 8-10 years of - HR experience in a manufacturing plant

- Strong knowledge of labour laws, Factories Act, statutory compliance

- Exposure to - blue-collar workforce, contractual staff, and -vendor management

- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Preferred From:

- Companies with large-scale manufacturing plants (e.g., Auto, FMCG, Engineering)

- Premier HR institutes (TISS, XLRI, XISS, SCMHRD, etc.)
