About:

- Design and deliver on-going innovative training programmes across a variety of different platforms (digital and offline) - liaising with external providers where necessary. Experience of the full training lifecycle - from concept through to implementation and facilitation

- Working with different functions to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of team member engagement initiatives within the specific departments.

- Responsible to design & Facilitate engagement framework leading into an engaged workforce

- Drive performance culture across the Line of Business assigned and facilitate performance/ talent calibrations.

- Understanding of people practices and policies and collaborate with other team members across HR function to meet the requirement for the business.

- Capture process data and generate insights into effectiveness of HR Processes. Engage and manage stakeholder relationships and delivery of services with a high focus on quality.

- Aligns business objectives with employees and management for the designated business function.

- Serves as a consultant to management on HR related issues.

- Acts as an employee advocate and change agent.

- Proactively assesses the unit's HR-related needs, and sets the wheels in motion for an efficient and timely resolution.

- Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its mid/long-term goals and objectives, its culture, and its performance.

- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR Regional to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

- Works closely with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

- Coaches the Business' departmental heads and Management in performance management processes, compensation, remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making.

- Manages and resolves delicate and complex employee relations matters and conducts, thorough and effective investigations.

- Supports leadership on progressive discipline of employees as well as employment decisions and re-organizations.

- Serves as the first stop, dedicated point of contact for all HR related questions/concerns of the function's Employees.

- Leads and supports in key projects and company initiatives.

- Provides training, coaching, and mentoring to local HR when applicable.

- Travel within India and occasionally in the region to drive programs

- Develop program, processes to support business objectives and Partner with Business leaders on growth related workforce planning, structure & span, Career Planning & Development, Capability building, and succession planning.

- Be an advisor/ consultant to Leaders & Managers in the business unit, Provide ongoing support to the HR Manager on human resources related matters, policies and procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions.

- Strong HR background with broad knowledge of recruiting, organizational management, employee relations, investigations, compensation, training and development, and safety.

- Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources management.

- Ability to be a mentor and resource for direct and indirect reports.

- Ability to stay current with federal and states laws and regulations.

- Ability to work on a Matrix organization with a matrix reporting hierarchy

- Ability to effectively present complex information in a clear, concise and convincing manner and ability respond to questions from executive management, peers, staff, outside agencies and auditors.

- Ability to facilitate teamwork among staff, as well as with other groups throughout the organization. Ability to build trust with all functional areas within the organization.

- Accountable for decisions made within the scope of responsibility, with the focus on meeting established short term and long-term goals and objectives.

- Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Comfortable with fast-paced, challenging environment. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.

- Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.

- Ensures work responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
