Regulatory Lead (Thermal Power-Generation Business)
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the entire regulatory affairs function for the thermal power generation business
- Handle regulatory filings, petitions, and submissions before regulatory authorities and commissions
- Monitor and ensure compliance with power sector regulations, policies, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on regulatory matters
- Support tariff determination, power purchase agreements, and related regulatory processes
- Analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations
- Maintain strong relationships with government bodies, electricity boards, and regulatory -agencies
- Provide strategic inputs on regulatory and compliance-related matters
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong experience in regulatory affairs within the power or energy sector
- Good understanding of Thermal Power Generation and Independent Power Producer (IPP) operations
- Knowledge of electricity regulations, tariff mechanisms, and compliance frameworks
- Experience dealing with regulatory commissions and government authorities
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Experience in thermal power projects or energy infrastructure organizations
- Ability to handle complex regulatory and compliance matters independently
- Strong documentation and presentation capabilities
