Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale building and infrastructure projects. This leadership role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take end-to-end ownership of construction projects, from initial planning and resource allocation to on-site execution and final handover. Drive project schedules and budgets, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.

- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, government bodies, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of project goals. Facilitate regular communication and reporting to stakeholders at all levels.

- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, procurement strategies, and workforce deployment. Monitor project progress rigorously and adjust plans to address challenges or changes in scope.

- Enforce strict quality control and assurance standards throughout the construction lifecycle. Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, safety codes, environmental standards, and company policies.

- Oversee the effective utilization of labor, materials, equipment, and budgetary resources. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to maximize value and efficiency.

- Identify potential risks and obstacles early in the project. Develop contingency plans and lead problem-solving efforts to minimize impact on project delivery.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, financial tracking, compliance records, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Project Director or Program Manager.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, safety standards, and legal requirements.

- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing diverse teams and multiple stakeholders.
