Hero Fincorp - Senior Associate - Compliance

Responsibilities for the job:

1. Drive and support high standards of core compliance framework through ongoing delivery of any organised and structured Core Compliance program on monitoring and testing.

2. Support Lead in providing business advisory to ensure clear understanding of compliance risk exposure with respect to clients, transactions and products.

3. Analyzing compliance requirements for New Product Approvals and coordinate with relevant stakeholders in ensuring controls are established right from the beginning to mitigate compliance risk.

4. Formulating testing scripts, identifying areas for adhoc testing, engagement to identify gaps for thematic reviews, regulatory guidelines.

5. Play the central role in identifying the level of regulatory Compliance risk in the NBFC, the compliance risks in existing / new products and processes shall be analysed and appropriate risk mitigants put in place.

6. Assist Lead in updating Action Taken Tracker and exercise control over timely and quality addressal of the open issues.

7. Review of the policies and systems that impact the NBFC and ensure Regulatory Compliance is managed in a commercially sensitive, practical and cost-effective manner.

8. Assisting Lead to design and delivery of a portfolio of Compliance tests to monitor compliance with Regulation and internal policies, processes, SOPs.

9. Conducting thematic review/analysis of test check and highlighting deficiencies or violations of rules, regulations and procedures. Assisting Lead to designing, engineering and implementation of new test checks/reviews.

10. Act as advisory to training team w.r.t to compliance policies and processes to be followed.

11. Escalate appropriate concerns to Business compliance and management.

12. Management of the Compliance Monitoring Tool for identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing applicable compliance requirements; escalate issues of non-compliance and recording approval of competent authority for deviations/ delay in compliance submission.

13. Assisting Lead on dashboard view to Senior Management on compliance position of the Company.

Education:

LLB/CA/MBA Finance; Certification or experience in conducting Audits or Risk Management tools will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Ability to use pivot tables and work with an advanced statistical database and statistical methods and functions. - At least two years' experience in financial services data analysis
