Work Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced ECP Payroll Specialist with deep expertise in SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and strong functional knowledge of Australian payroll regulations.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, payroll compliance, reporting, auditing, and employee support while collaborating closely with HR and Finance teams.

- This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Processing

- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for Australian employees using SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

- Review and validate payroll results including earnings, deductions, taxes, and superannuation.

- Validate payslips to ensure 100% accuracy in payroll calculations.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing in alignment with Australian payroll cycles and legislative requirements.

2. Reporting & Analysis

Generate essential payroll reports such as:

- Gross-to-Net reports

- Variance reports

- Reconciliation reports

- Analyze payroll results to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential issues.

- Conduct compliance-related reporting including social security, tax filings, and year-end processes (e.g., STP, PAYG).

3. Audit & Compliance

- Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing documentation, reports, and insights.

- Ensure payroll operations are fully compliant with Australian Fair Work regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.

- Maintain compliance with company policies, data security, and payroll governance.

4. Employee Support

Address and resolve employee queries related to:

- Payroll calculations

- Tax deductions

- Benefits

- Leave balances and entitlements

- Offer clear guidance to employees on payroll-related policies and procedures.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

- Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to streamline and improve payroll processes.

- Identify gaps and suggest improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, processing time, and compliance.

- Participate in payroll transformation or optimization projects as needed.

Technical Skills Required:

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

- In-depth understanding of Australian payroll systems, regulations, awards, superannuation, and taxation.

Proven expertise in:

- Payroll processing

- Payroll reporting

- Payroll compliance

- Payroll troubleshooting

- Experience in ticketing and case management tools is an advantage.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- 7-12 years of professional experience in payroll, with substantial exposure to Australian payroll processing.

- Strong knowledge of payroll regulatory compliance, tax laws, and statutory reporting.

- Experience supporting payroll operations in an enterprise environment using SAP ECP.

- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
