Job Title: Head Finance Shared Services (FSS) / GCC Finance Leader

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Finance Shared Services Leader to head our India-based Global Capability Center (GCC) and drive the transformation, standardization, and global delivery of Finance & Accounting (F&A) operations.

This role will act as a strategic partner to global finance leadership, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing operations across Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Payroll, and Reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing global finance operations within a matrixed, multinational environment, with a strong focus on process transformation, automation, and customer-centric delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GCC Strategy & Transformation

- Define and execute the GCC finance strategy, aligned with global organizational goals

- Drive the evolution of the India GCC into a center of excellence (CoE) for finance operations

- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, including:

- Process standardization

- Robotics / RPA

- AI-driven automation

- Digital finance capabilities

- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

2. Global Operations Leadership

- Oversee end-to-end global F&A processes:

- Record to Report (R2R)

- Procure to Pay (P2P)

- Order to Cash (O2C)

- Payroll & Treasury support

- Financial reporting & reconciliations

- Ensure delivery excellence across multiple geographies and time zones

- Drive adherence to global SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics

- Optimize cost, efficiency, and service quality across operations

3. Governance, Risk & Compliance

- Ensure full compliance with:

- US GAAP / IFRS (as applicable)

- SOX 404 controls

- Global regulatory and audit requirements

- Build a robust governance and internal controls framework

- Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure audit readiness

- Proactively manage operational and financial risks

4. Global Stakeholder Management

- Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and global finance leaders

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions (US, EMEA, APAC)

- Lead governance forums, business reviews, and executive updates

- Ensure alignment between GCC delivery and global business priorities

5. Talent & Organization Building

- Build and lead a high-performing GCC finance organization

- Manage and mentor large teams across multiple functions

- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and capability building

- Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and high engagement

Candidate Profile:

Must-Have:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 20+ years of experience

- Extensive experience in MNC / GCC / Shared Services environment

- Strong expertise in:

- US GAAP / IFRS

- SOX 404 compliance

- Global finance operations

- Proven track record of leading large, multi-location teams

- Demonstrated success in driving transformation and automation programs

Preferred:

- Experience in Services sectorsCaptive Center /IT GCC

- Prior experience in setting up or scaling a GCC / CoE

- Exposure to ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle) and digital finance tools
