Job Description - Head of Talent Acquisition

Location : Mumbai

Reporting To : CHRO

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale the hiring function for a fast-growing, high-energy organisation. This role requires a strong operator who can drive end-to-end hiring across corporate, frontline, and leadership levels while building long-term recruitment capability and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Leadership:

- Lead and manage pan-India hiring across corporate, frontline, store, warehouse, and blue-collar workforce.

- Ensure timely fulfilment of critical and business-impact roles.

End-to-End Recruitment (360):

- Drive sourcing, assessments, stakeholder management, negotiations, and closures for mid to senior level positions.

- Manage niche and leadership hiring, with the ability to work on specialised and hard-to-fill roles.

Campus & Early Talent Hiring:

- Manage campus recruitment across partner institutions.

- Lead the intern hiring program

Employer Branding & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Support and contribute to employer branding initiatives, market positioning, and candidate experience improvements.

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and represent the TA function confidently across leadership forums.

Process Excellence & Digital Transformation:

- Set up and evolve hiring practices suitable for a fast-paced start-up environment.

- Drive the implementation of a new ATS and enable digital interventions in the hiring lifecycle.

- Establish scalable TA processes, dashboards, and governance mechanisms.

Team Management:

- Lead a blended team of permanent and contractual TA members with 4-5 direct reportees.

- Build capability within the team to manage volume as well as specialised hiring demands.

Preferred Profile:

- 8-14 years of TA experience with strong exposure to high-growth, dynamic environments.

- Prior experience in start-ups, executive search, or leadership hiring preferred.

- Hands-on operator comfortable managing both volume hiring and strategic mandates.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Process-oriented mindset with willingness to build systems from the ground up.
