Head - Talent Acquisition

Role : Head - Talent Acquisition

Summary :

Head Talent Acquisition at the corporate office is responsible for driving the enterprise wide recruitment strategy, systems, governance, and leadership hiring for the organization. The role involves close collaboration with business leaders, and corporate stakeholders to ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains the best-fit talent across all business units and geographies. The incumbent will lead corporate TA operations, standardize recruitment practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and execute end-to-end talent acquisition strategies in alignment with business needs.

- Forecast workforce requirements in collaboration with BU heads.

- Drive diversity hiring and promote inclusive recruitment practices.

- Establish and monitor talent acquisition KPIs (TAT, quality of hire, cost per hire, etc.).

Leadership Hiring & Strategic Roles:

- Personally lead critical leadership hiring mandates across functions.

- Build a strong pipeline for succession planning and high-impact roles.

Operational Excellence:

- Oversee full-cycle recruitment activities sourcing, screening, interviews, offer management, and onboarding.

- Deploy and optimize recruitment tools.

- Implement structured interview techniques and competency-based hiring.

Employer Branding & Talent Marketing:

- Lead campus hiring initiatives and partnerships with engineering/management institutions.

- Champion Employee Referral Program and digital sourcing campaigns.

Stakeholder Management:

- Partner with senior leadership and business unit heads to understand critical hiring needs.

- Provide regular dashboards, hiring forecasts, and strategic hiring insights to management.

- Act as a trusted advisor on talent availability, compensation trends, and market intelligence.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of TA professionals.

- Foster a high-performance culture and accountability within the TA team.

- Conduct regular training and upskilling sessions for recruiters and hiring managers.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Postgraduate in Human Resources / MBA (HR) from a reputed institute

- 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

- Prior experience in a corporate TA leadership role with exposure to pan-India technical hiring

- Experience managing both white-collar and blue-collar talent needs strong knowledge of TA systems, HR tech platforms, and recruitment analytics
