Role Overview

The Head of Talent Acquisition (India & Middle East) will be a pivotal leadership role, responsible for defining, implementing, and scaling our talent acquisition strategy across the fast-growing markets of India and the Middle East (GCC). This individual will lead a distributed, high-performing TA team based in India and Dubai and will be crucial in attracting top-tier talent to support the firm's ambitious growth objectives.

This is a hybrid role, with a preference for candidates based in Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Mumbai. The role reports directly to the Global CHRO based in London.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive, high-impact talent acquisition strategy aligned with HR Codes Consulting's global vision and regional growth targets for India and the Middle East.

- Act as a strategic partner to regional leadership, advising on workforce planning, market trends, compensation benchmarks, and TA best practices.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse and geographically dispersed team of TA professionals located across India and Dubai.

- Establish clear team goals, performance metrics, and drive a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and exceptional candidate experience.

Operational Excellence:

- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for all levels and functions in the region, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance.

- Implement advanced recruiting technologies, tools, and processes to optimize workflow and reporting.

Regional Expertise:

- Leverage prior experience in the Middle East (GCC) market to establish robust talent pipelines and recruitment mechanisms specific to that region.

- Drive employer branding and market positioning efforts in both India and the Middle East.

Global Alignment:

- Ensure all regional TA activities are in compliance with global standards and collaborate effectively with the Global CHRO and other regional TA leads.

- Manage and report on regional TA budget, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

- Experience: A minimum of 15 to 22 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant experience in a leadership role managing multi-country or regional teams.

- Education: Must possess a Post-Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) from a Tier 1 B School (e.g., IIMs, XLRI, ISB, etc.).

Geographic Expertise:

- Proven, demonstrable experience managing talent acquisition operations in India.

- Prior experience managing recruitment in the Middle East (GCC) market is strongly preferred.

- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives globally.

- Sector Background: Experience within professional services, management consulting, or a high-growth, dynamic corporate environment is highly desirable.

- Reporting Structure: Must be comfortable operating in a hybrid work environment and managing an international reporting line (reporting to the Global CHRO in London).
