Position Title: Head - Talent Acquisition CoE
Reporting To: CHRO / Head - HR
Role Overview:
The Head - Talent Acquisition CoE will be responsible for designing and leading the talent acquisition strategy across the group, covering manufacturing, sales, design, supply chain, and corporate functions.
The role will focus on creating a robust Center of Excellence (CoE) for recruitment, ensuring scalability, process excellence, employer branding, and talent pipeline building to support the company's growth and transformation journey.
The incumbent will provide strategic direction while also ensuring operational excellence in hiring, with a mix of leadership, niche, and volume hiring mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership
- Build and drive the enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals in the textile and apparel industry.
- Partner with business and HR leadership to forecast manpower needs across plants, regional offices, sales channels, and corporate functions.
- Establish recruitment metrics, SLAs, and governance frameworks for quality, cost, and speed of hiring.
2. Recruitment Operations & Process Excellence
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment ( mid-management, and leadership roles).
- Drive adoption of technology (ATS, AI-enabled sourcing, recruitment dashboards).
- Standardize processes across geographies for efficiency and compliance.
3. Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline
- Strengthen employer brand positioning for the industry - across campuses, industry forums, and digital platforms.
- Build a strong campus engagement program for design, textiles, fashion, and engineering colleges.
- Develop internal and external talent pipelines for critical and niche roles.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand role requirements and design customized hiring strategies.
- Manage recruitment partners, search firms, and campus associations.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance against agreed SLAs.
5. Diversity, Inclusion & Market Intelligence
- Drive diversity-focused hiring initiatives across functions and levels.
- Provide market insights on talent trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitor intelligence.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 12-18 years of progressive HR/Talent Acquisition experience, preferably with exposure to manufacturing / textile / apparel / FMCG industries.
- Strong track record of managing large-scale recruitment across multiple business verticals and geographies.
- Proven expertise in building TA strategy, employer branding, and process excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with business leadership and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
