About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and execution-driven Head of Sales to build and scale our US business for global talent platform and Employer of Record (EOR) services.
This is a builder role with full ownership of revenue and P&L, requiring a mix of hands-on selling, team building, and go-to-market strategy development. The ideal candidate has experience selling EOR, global payroll, HRTech, or international staffing solutions to US clients and can build a business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Own and deliver US revenue targets (quarterly & annual)
- Manage overall sales performance including bookings, revenue, and margins
- Operate with strong financial discipline and forecasting accuracy
2. Build & Scale the Sales Function
- Design and implement the go-to-market strategy (ICP, messaging, outreach, sales stages)
- Build and scale a high-performing sales team from scratch
- Establish CRM processes, pipeline discipline, and reporting frameworks
3. Enterprise & Startup Sales Execution
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles with US clients
- Engage with CHROs, CFOs, VPs of People, and Operations leaders
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving HR, legal, finance, and compliance
4. Solution Positioning & Value Selling
- Position EOR and global workforce solutions as strategic business enablers
- Articulate value around:
- Faster global hiring
- Compliance risk mitigation
- Cross-border workforce scalability
5. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Build partnerships with HRTech platforms, PEOs, benefits providers, VC/PE firms, and accelerators
- Develop co-selling and referral channels to expand market reach
6. Commercial Strategy & Market Presence
- Define pricing models, commercial structures, and scalable revenue frameworks
- Represent the organization in US market forums, events, and thought leadership initiatives
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Proven experience in EOR / Global Workforce / HRTech Sales for US market
- Experience selling to US-based decision-makers (HR, Finance, Legal stakeholders)
- Demonstrated success in owning and delivering US revenue from India
- Track record of building a $3M+ portfolio or equivalent from scratch
- Strong understanding of cross-border employment, compliance, and payroll dynamics
- Experience or readiness to own P&L and build a sales function from zero
Preferred Profile:
- 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in US-facing HRTech / EOR / staffing sales
- Background in:
- EOR / Global Payroll platforms
- HRTech or SaaS-enabled services
- International staffing or workforce solutions
- Experience handling multi-stakeholder enterprise deals ($100K$1M+ deal size)
- Strong network of US CHROs, CFOs, and People leaders
- Exposure to startup and mid-market ecosystems (VC-backed companies preferred)
