
About the Role:
Our company, a leading manufacturer of forged and machined components, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to spearhead our export business expansion while also developing a robust domestic presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase export sales and market share profitably.
- Identify and target new international markets and customers, while strategically extending our domestic presence and higher value-added products, including contract manufacturing.
- Build and effectively drive annual business plans, monthly sales plans, and forecasts, supported by derivative plans and periodic reviews through presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop, lead, and mentor a lean, capable, and high-performing sales and marketing team to achieve quantifiable performance and sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge, with periodic presentations.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and regulations of importing countries for exports.
- Identify, propose, and attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote our products and business.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the success of the business and the overall growth of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing in the manufacturing sector with an ability to collaborate on analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of export regulations and international trade. Following processes in line with guidelines of defined Quality Management Systems e.g., IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 Process Audit, and ISO 9001. Ability to transact using ERP and CRM platforms. Ability to implement is preferred. Use of Microsoft Office Tools. Dash Board Management is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities.
