We are seeking an accomplished and visionary sales leader to head the Sales function for our Metals & Mining Business Unit. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned professional with strong technical sales expertise, deep industry relationships, and a proven track record of driving large-scale growth in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall sales strategy, business development initiatives, and global client acquisition efforts.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective pricing, contracting, negotiation, and risk management.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth bid management, proposal development, and project execution.
- Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and leadership to develop a high-performing sales team.
- Represent the organization at key industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering; MBA in Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within EPC/EPCM environments.
- Strong network within the metals and mining sector, with demonstrated exposure to international markets.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive long-term business growth and manage complex, multi-country sales cycles.
