
Head - Regulatory Reporting
Description:
1. Core Purpose & Mandate:
- Ownership: Ultimate responsibility for the end-to-end production and delivery of all critical regulatory reports for Solvency (capital adequacy, e.g., RWA, COREP) and Structural Risk (liquidity, e.g., LCR, NSFR, TLAC).
- Compliance & Assurance: Ensures 100% accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submissions to both local regulators and Group headquarters, safeguarding the firm from regulatory and reputational risk.
- Strategic Leadership: Serves as a senior finance leader, partnering with Business Units, Risk, Treasury, and other Support Functions to steer and certify regulatory metrics.
2. Key Responsibilities & Domains:
- Production Leadership: Oversees the weekly, monthly, and quarterly production cycle for a complex suite of regulatory metrics.
- Governance & Control: Establishes and maintains a robust control framework, including data reconciliations, certifications, and a clear governance model to ensure data integrity and auditability.
- Transformation & Automation: Drives the strategic roadmap to standardize, automate, and simplify reporting processes, improving data lineage and efficiency through collaboration with IT and Data teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Acts as the primary liaison with regulators and key internal stakeholders (Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance), ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Team Leadership: Leads, mentors, and develops a large team (~100 members), building domain expertise and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
3. Required Expertise & Profile:
- Deep Regulatory Knowledge: Must have an expert-level understanding of evolving prudential regulations (Basel III/IV, CRR, Solvency II) and their operational impact.
- Technical & Analytical Rigor: Requires strong knowledge of financial instruments, capital structures, and risk-weighted assets (RWA), coupled with a focus on data integrity.
- Leadership & Influence: Must be a proven leader capable of managing a large, geographically dispersed team and influencing senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Change Agent: Needs a proven track record of driving digitalization, standardization, and transformation within finance/regulatory functions.
- Resilience: Must thrive under tight deadlines and high regulatory scrutiny.
