Head - Quality - Wire Division

Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong professional to lead the Quality Control (QC) function for our Wire Division. The role requires deep expertise in rope wire, bead wire, spring wire, and specialty wire manufacturing, along with strong leadership skills to manage QC operations, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management:

- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards at every stage-from raw material inspection to finished wire products.

- Develop and implement QC systems, procedures, SOPs, and quality checklists.

- Ensure compliance with international and national standards such as ASTM, ISO, BIS, SAE etc.

- Handle customer audits, quality certifications, and third-party inspections.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, train, and mentor a team of QC engineers, technicians, and lab staff.

- Conduct regular training programs to upgrade team skills.

Testing & Laboratory Management:

- Manage and upgrade all QC/testing equipment - tensile, torsion, elongation tests, coating tests, fatigue testing, etc.

- Oversee metallurgical and chemical testing of wires, coatings (galvanized, brass-coated), and raw materials.

Process Control & Continuous Improvement:

- Monitor key process parameters and coordinate with production teams to maintain product quality.

- Lead Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma initiatives to reduce rejections and improve product consistency

Documentation & Compliance:

- Maintain documentation as per ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other QMS standards.

- Prepare daily/weekly QC reports, MIS, dashboards, and submit to senior management
