Head - Quality - Chemical Industry

QUALITY HEAD (CHEMICAL INDUSTRY)

Leads QA/QC teams to ensure products meet regulatory standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. Develop Quality Management Systems (QMS), manage raw material and finished goods testing, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement (Six Sigma) to enhance operational quality.

Key Responsibilities:

QMS Implementation:

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Quality Control & Compliance:

- Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to meet specifications.

Regulatory Adherence:

- Ensure strict adherence to GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.

Audit & Inspection:

- Conduct internal audits and manage external inspections, including vendor audits.

Root Cause Analysis:

- Lead investigations into quality complaints and defects, implementing corrective actions (CAPA).

Leadership & Training:

- Lead, mentor, and train QC/QA staff to promote a strong quality culture.

Reporting:

- Analyze quality metrics and KPIs, providing reports to senior management.

Qualification And Experience:

1. Engineering, or related field with Minimum 12+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, with 5+ years in a leadership role within a chemical industry.

2. Deep understanding of quality control techniques (SPC), lab instruments, and chemical analysis and knowledge of ISO standards, GLP & Six Sigma,

3. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

4. Lean Six Sigma green/black belt preferred

5. Strong team management, decision-making, and communication skills.
