- Lead the project management office (PMO) for mortgage-related projects, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
- Define and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and standards for the mortgage portfolio to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of mortgage projects, ensuring they meet business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, product managers, and cross-functional teams (Sales, Risk, Compliance, Operations) to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage the project portfolio, ensuring that projects are prioritized based on business impact, resources, and strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and other PMO team members, ensuring high performance and successful project outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring that progress is tracked and issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Ensure all projects related to mortgage products adhere to regulatory compliance, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and mitigation planning to proactively address potential project challenges and issues.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigations.
- Establish and manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support the successful delivery of mortgage-related projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging project management methodologies to continuously improve the PMO's effectiveness.
