1) Manage the Programming Network in Bangalore. Address issues and activities regarding production and programming, budgets, policies, and news coverage. 2) Evaluate new and existing programming for suitability and in order to assess the need for changes, using information such as audience surveys and feedback. 3) Monitor and review programming in order to ensure that schedules are met, guidelines are adhered to, and performances are of adequate quality. 4) Perform personnel duties such as hiring staff and evaluating work performance 5) Plan and schedule programming and event coverage based on broadcast length, time availability, and other factors such as community need, rating data, and viewer demographics. 6) Develop budgets for programming and broadcasting activities, and monitor expenditures to ensure that they remain within budgetary limits. 7) Develop ideas for programs and features that stations could produce. 8) Responsible for all programming matters to ensure Station/Stations achieve better audience ratings in line with the agreed direction and timelines set 9) Responsible for driving stations revenue through support for the client promotions and sales team, particularly in the area of idea generation and client management through to ensuring the programming team maximizes all opportunities within sponsorship and promotional activity for the audience and the client. 10) Ensure a positive working environment for all the programming staff ensuring that each team member feels rewarded and acknowledged for solid performance and that they feel their growth and future career path is being nurtured. 11) Ensure excellent communication between programming, sales, marketing and digital. 12) To be always on the lookout for new opportunities to enhance the network's performances in any possible way.
