Production Head (CPP - Cast Polypropylene)

Oversees all film extrusion operations, focusing on planning, quality, cost control, team leadership, and continuous improvement for efficient, high-standard CPP film manufacturing, managing everything from raw materials (polymers) to final dispatch, including new product development and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations of CPP lines, set production targets, develop schedules, ensure raw material availability, and minimize machine downtime.

- Implement quality control measures, handle customer complaints, and ensure products meet strict standards (CCP/OPRP/Hygiene).

- Monitor conversion costs, optimize resource utilization (materials, energy), reduce waste, and improve overall output.

- Lead, motivate, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).

- Support new product trials, develop new product formulations, and improve processes.

- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain for order fulfillment and operational alignment.

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and provide timely MIS reports.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE in In Industrial, Chemical, Polymer) or related fiel with deep knowledge of CPP film extrusion, polymers, machinery (e.g., Davis-Standard), and material properties & having experience of Minimum 15+ Years in the similar field.

2. Strong understanding of CPP film manufacturing processes, including knowledge of different types of CPP films, their properties, and applications.

3. Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, develop and implement production plans, and manage budgets.

4. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SOP development.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

6. Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations for CPP film production.
