Job Description:
- We are hiring a Head Procurement & Contracts for a confidential large-scale organization based in Jamnagar.
- The role demands leadership across end-to-end procurement, contract administration, vendor strategy, and cost optimization for complex construction and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Leadership:
- Drive strategic sourcing across civil, structural, MEP & finishing categories
- Lead vendor identification, RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations & negotiations
- Ensure timely material & service availability aligned to project schedules
Contract Management:
- Draft, review & manage contracts (EPC, item-rate, turnkey, lump-sum)
- Handle claims, variations, disputes & compliance frameworks
- Ensure legal and commercial risk mitigation
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and manage vendor ecosystem across construction & industrial supply chains
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal & project teams
Cost & Compliance:
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering & budget adherence
- Ensure audit readiness, documentation & regulatory compliance
Mandatory Requirements (Strict No Flexibility):
- 20+ years experience in Procurement & Contracts
Industry:
Primary: Indian Refinery (IOCL, HPCL, BPCL etc.)
Secondary: Renowned Real Estate / Construction firms
Qualification:
- B.E. Civil / Construction Management (Mandatory)
- MBA (Preferred)
Age: Maximum 50 years
- Strong expertise in construction materials, MEP, contracts & vendor strategy
