Exciting Leadership Opportunity | Plant Quality Head | Indore (MP)
A leading Automotive OEM with a strong presence in the PV & CV segments is seeking a Plant Quality Head to drive the entire Quality function at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Indore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality function across Press Shop, Body Shop, Paint Shop, Assembly, Powertrain & EOL Testing
- Build and mentor a high-performing Quality team and champion a Zero-Defect, First-Time-Right culture
- Strengthen supplier quality and implement robust process controls
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards & lead audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizens, TPM)
- Analyze quality KPIs, field failures & lead warranty reduction programs
Ideal Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 20+ years of total experience in Quality, preferably 12+ years in passenger / commercial vehicle manufacturing plant
- Strong exposure to APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and supplier development
- Proven track record in new product launches & customer quality improvement
- Location: Indore (Madhya Pradesh)
