Role Overview:

As the Plant HR Manager (Head), you will serve as the strategic custodian of human capital for our manufacturing operations in the Silvassa/Vapi belt. You will act as the primary bridge between the shop floor and senior leadership, ensuring that our people practices align with operational excellence. Your day-to-day involves navigating complex industrial relations, driving high-performance cultures, and overseeing end-to-end HR operations to ensure seamless plant productivity. By fostering a harmonious work environment and championing talent development, you will directly influence employee retention, operational efficiency, and the overall business growth of the manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of Industrial Relations and statutory compliance to ensure a stable, dispute-free manufacturing environment that adheres to all state and central labour laws.

- Drive the performance management framework by setting clear KPIs for shop floor and management staff, ensuring individual contributions directly support plant output targets.

- Oversee comprehensive HR operations, including payroll, attendance management, and employee welfare, to maintain high levels of operational discipline and employee satisfaction.

- Partner with plant leadership to implement talent management strategies, focusing on skill gap analysis, training, and succession planning to build a future-ready workforce.

- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from recruitment and onboarding to separation, ensuring that the plant is adequately staffed with high-quality talent.

- Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to the Plant Head, providing data-driven insights and people-related solutions that mitigate risks and enhance organizational agility.

Required Skillset:

- Possess deep expertise in navigating the complexities of Industrial Relations and Labour Laws within a manufacturing setup, with a proven ability to manage blue and white collar workers , and local government authorities effectively.

- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in managing large, diverse teams, coupled with the interpersonal finesse required to navigate the unique dynamics of a plant environment.

- Exhibit a high degree of adaptability and on-site presence, as this role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and daily engagement with the shop floor workforce.

- Hold a Master's degree in Human Resources or an MBA from a premier institute, providing a solid academic foundation for strategic HR decision-making.

- Display excellent communication and negotiation skills, essential for mediating conflicts and representing the organization in sensitive labor-related discussions.

- Bring 12 to 18 years of progressive experience in manufacturing HR, with a track record of driving cultural transformation and operational efficiency in high-pressure industrial settings.
