Key Responsibilities:
1. Loan Operations Management
- Oversee complete loan life cycle operations: sourcing, login, underwriting coordination, approval, disbursement, and post-disbursement activities.
- Ensure adherence to credit policy, operational SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor TATs across all stages and drive continuous improvements.
2. Process Excellence & Automation
- Build, streamline, and enhance operational workflows for scalability.
- Lead digitization initiatives, including LOS/LMS enhancements, OCR, RPA, e-KYC, e-sign, and automated documentation.
- Implement best practices for process standardization across branches.
3. Customer Experience & Service Quality
- Ensure high-quality customer onboarding and servicing.
- Set up efficient customer service frameworkscontact center, grievance redressal, digital servicing.
- Drive initiatives to improve NPS, customer satisfaction scores, and reduce customer complaints.
4. Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with NHB/RBI guidelines related to housing finance operations.
- Liaise with compliance, legal, audit, and risk teams to address operational gaps.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulators and internal stakeholders.
5. Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with technical agencies, legal partners, verification agencies, DSAs, and co-lending partners.
- Negotiate service-level agreements and ensure adherence to quality and timelines.
6. Collections & Portfolio Support (Operations side)
- Coordinate with collections and credit teams to support field operations.
- Ensure timely updating of repayments, NACH mandates, re-presentations, foreclosures, part-payments, etc.
7. Team Leadership & Governance
- Lead and mentor operations teams across branches, regional hubs, and central operations.
- Implement governance framework, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Drive strong culture of accountability, transparency, and customer-centricity.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of HFC/NBFC retail lending operations.
- Expertise in housing loan documentation, legal/technical processes, and disbursement mechanisms.
- Experience in tech-enabled process transformations.
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to lead large teams across geographies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate in Business, Finance, or Operations Management.
- 10-18 years of experience in retail housing finance or mortgage lending operations.
- Prior experience in leadership roles within an HFC/NBFC is preferred.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of LOS/LMS systems (e.g., FinnOne, NetConnect, etc.).
