About the Role:

The Operation & Maintenance Head will be responsible for overseeing the overall O&M strategy, compliance, and execution for highway projects under Shrem InvIT. The role involves ensuring adherence to concession agreements, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements while driving efficiency, safety, and sustainability across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all maintenance requirements specified in the Concession Agreement (CA), IRC, MORTH guidelines, and circulars from competent authorities are met consistently throughout the concession cycle.

- Monitor, analyze, and live-track O&M contractor performance through maintenance MIS and mobile applications.

- Act as the primary technical liaison with Client/Authority Engineer/Independent Engineer, PIU/RO officials, and other state authorities for issue resolution and smooth project operations.

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all official correspondence with Authorities/IE.

- Oversee routine, preventive, and periodic maintenance, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.

- Lead and supervise subordinate technical, contractual, and maintenance personnel at HO & sites.

- Identify potential operational challenges, escalate critical issues to management, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure seamless project operations.

- Review and maintain O&M documentation including Maintenance Manuals, Inspection Reports, and Test Reports.

Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 18-25 years in highway operations & maintenance (HAM projects preferred).

- Strong knowledge of IRC, MORTH, SOR, Concession Agreements, and industry codes/practices.

- Proven liaison experience with Authorities/IE.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities with expertise in managing large teams and contractors.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
