About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to lead and oversee all operational functions across the organization. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across Production Control, Purchasing, Materials Management, Quality, Facility Maintenance, and Aftermarket Operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with ISO/API standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and accountability.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Operations will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, support strategic planning initiatives, manage budgets, and develop high-performing operational teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

- Oversee day-to-day operations across Production Control, Purchasing, Materials, Quality, Facility Maintenance, and Aftermarket functions.

- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization across all operational areas.

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

People Management & Development

- Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and supervisors.

- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

- Conduct performance evaluations and support leadership development initiatives.

Production & Inventory Management

- Optimize production planning, scheduling, and control processes.

- Ensure effective inventory management to balance service levels, working capital, and cost efficiency.

- Oversee purchasing and materials planning to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with ISO, API, and other applicable quality management standards.

- Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

- Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture.

- Oversee audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance activities.

Facilities & Asset Management

- Oversee facility maintenance, equipment reliability, and infrastructure management.

- Ensure facilities are maintained to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Financial & Strategic Responsibilities

- Develop and manage operational budgets and cost controls.

- Support strategic planning, capacity planning, and operational scalability initiatives.

- Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term business and growth strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Quality, and Finance teams to align operational priorities.

- Support aftermarket operations to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

OR

- 10+ years of relevant experience in operations leadership.

- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing, materials management, or quality management.

Strong understanding of:

- Manufacturing processes

- Production planning and control

- Inventory and materials management

- Quality systems (ISO/API) and regulatory compliance

- Proven leadership and team management experience.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MRP/ERP systems.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
