ROLE OVERVIEW:
- We are looking for a Business Development - Head to own and drive new business growth across India.
- This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for building the revenue pipeline, closing high-value mandates, and positioning Hawk Martech as a preferred growth partner for brands across industries.
- You will act as the face of the company for new business, working closely with founders, leadership, and internal delivery teams to convert complex business challenges into scalable marketing and martech solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- New Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth.
- Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle across India-from prospecting and pitching to closure and onboarding.
- Drive new business across all industries including D2C, E-commerce, BFSI, Real Estate, Education, Healthcare, SaaS, Consumer Brands, and Enterprise.
- Build and close large-ticket retainers, performance mandates, and integrated marketing engagements.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through aggressive hunting and strategic deal-making.
- Create a strong, predictable pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
Strategic Pitching & Solutioning:
- Lead high-impact pitch presentations and RFP responses with customized, insight-led strategies.
- Work closely with performance, creative, tech, analytics, and strategy teams to craft data-backed, scalable solutions.
- Translate client business objectives into actionable marketing frameworks across Performance Marketing (Google, Meta, Marketplaces); SEO & Organic Growth; Social & Content; Martech, Analytics & Automation.
- Confidently discuss business metrics such as ROAS, CAC, LTV, funnels, attribution, and growth forecasting with CXOs.
Market Intelligence & Leadership Positioning:
- Build and nurture relationships with Founders, CMOs, Marketing Heads, Growth Leaders, and CXOs across India.
- Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, martech, AI, attribution, and performance-led growth.
- Represent Hawk Martech at industry events, networking forums, and business meetups.
- Act as a strategic advisor to prospects by linking marketing investments directly to business and P&L impact.
Experience & Expertise:
- 8-12+ years of experience in business development or sales, with significant exposure to Digital agencies, Performance marketing, Martech / Ad-tech / Media sales.
- Proven track record of closing mid-to large-scale agency mandates.
- Experience selling integrated solutions, not just single-channel services.
- Strong understanding of the Indian digital ecosystem across platforms and industries.
