Head - Mega Projects - Chemical

The incumbent will oversee the entire project lifecyclefrom conceptualization and detailed planning to procurement, regulatory approvals, contracting, and on-ground execution.

A key focus will be on ensuring that the project is delivered safely, within budget, on time, and in full compliance with statutory regulations, quality benchmarks, and best industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create an overall project roadmap detailing all key activities, process, corresponding milestones, and potential risks involved from conceptualization to closure of project.

- Conduct thorough evaluation of potential contractors, licensors and vendors basis aggregated consideration on cost-effectiveness, technology, reliability, quality & safety standards, past track record and past work inspection.

- Conduct periodic reviews with internal team, contractors, and vendors to track and monitor project progress.

- Build and lead a high-performance team by providing mentorship and guidance as well as feedback and developmental support.

Mandatory Requirements:

- A Chemical Engineer with minimum of 25 years of experience.

- Must have led full lifecycle of project as a leader.

- Must have led mega projects not less than 5000 crores and higher.

- Must be willing to relocate to Rajasthan.

Industry:

- Chemicals/ fertilisers/ Petrochemical/ refinery/ project management professionals from large EPC companies executing large scale projects.
