Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing with over 13 years of marketing and branding experience in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in consumer insights, brand development, NPD (New Product Development), P\&L management, and media strategy. This leadership role demands a visionary thinker who can build compelling marketing strategies to drive growth, strengthen brand equity, and enhance market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Branding-
- Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead brand development and repositioning efforts across product categories.
- Drive brand equity, awareness, and loyalty through innovative campaigns and storytelling.
Consumer Insights -
- Analyze consumer behavior, preferences, and market trends to shape strategy.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and refine brand positioning.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis.
New Product Development (NPD) -
- Lead the NPD process from ideation to market launch.
- Collaborate with R\&D, sales, and operations to ensure product-market fit and timely delivery.
- Evaluate and refine NPD performance post-launch.
Media & Digital Marketing -
- Oversee media buying strategies including traditional and digital channels.
- Lead digital transformation of the marketing function, with strong focus on performance marketing, SEO/SEM, content, and social media.
- Optimize digital campaigns to drive ROI and engagement.
Financial & Commercial Acumen -
- Full ownership of marketing budgets and P\&L accountability.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness, drive cost efficiencies, and report on KPIs.
- Align marketing investments with business growth and profitability goals.
Leadership & Team Development -
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results orientation.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to drive business impact.
Key Requirements:
- 13+ years of progressive experience in marketing and branding within the FMCG industry.
- Proven expertise in consumer insights, brand strategy, and new product launches. Hands-on experience in media buying, digital marketing, and integrated campaign planning.

- Strong understanding of P&L, gross contribution (GC), and net contribution (NC).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or a related field preferred.
