Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for streamlining Manufacturing operations. ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives, profitability and customer needs.

Production, Maintenance & Quality Operations:

- Experience with production planning, scheduling, and improving production workflows.

- Transformation of the manufacturing operations by ramping up the existing production capacity & streamlining all the processes.

- Capacity study based on demand forecast and resource allocation of labor, shift allocation, manpower planning

- Ensure material procurement planning based on demand forecast and inventory norms.

- Ensure implementation of Lean Manufacturing concept, driven Operation Excellence practices with Value-Stream-Mapping.

- Ensure enhanced productivity with optimized process and perform vertical Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) & Yield.

- Adopting total productivity maintenance (TPM) systems to enhance machine efficiency, reduction of machine downtimes and enhance quality products.

- Monthly and daily review of plant performance (KPI/KRA/MIS) and implementation of corrective actions by using problem solving tools & analytical approach, tactic of cross functional team involvement to meet targeted goals and customer satisfaction in terms of Quality, Delivery and Services.

Budget Management & Cost Saving:

- Monthly review of targeted budget, P&L for manufacturing Plants. project execution and monitoring of all expenses within the approved Budget.

- Ensure to internal rejections are in within the targets and action plans are in place.

- Operational cost monitoring for business profitability such Capex, Opex, Manpower cost, Logistic/SCM cost, Engineering, Energy Cost etc.

Quality Management:

- Monitoring of new product developments and ensuring execution of new project timeline.

- To ensure implementation of best practices and continual improvement activity such automations, error prevention mechanism (poka-yoke), Kaizen competitions, Quality Circle, waste (scrap/rejection) reduction, optimization of manufacturing operation cycle time, lean manufacturing,5S, line setup etc.

- Ensure to adopts and implementation of variation statistical tools, operational excellence, lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts, TQM. etc.

- Ensure to effective internal audit system to stringent of processes

- Ensure layered process audit system is effectively followed.

- Monitoring plant audits like ISO, Sedex, BRCGS, Amphori, Social/Customer Audits. FSC etc.

Team Management:

- Manage the Manufacturing, maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, Logistics, Admin, Finance through enhanced team performance, developing skills, identify training needs.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

MRM

- Ensure effectiveness of Management review meeting (MRM).

- Preparing MIS and presenting the same to the management for facilitating decision making by the management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

BE/Diploma in Plastics Engineering (20-25 yrs of experience in Leadership Skills, Plastics Manufacturing Operations, Financial Management of manufacturing plant, strategic planning, analytical approach, problem solving, Knowledge of new technology upgradation, Manufacturing techniques
