Job Title: Head Maintenance

Role Overview:

The Head Maintenance will be responsible for leading end-to-end plant maintenance, utilities management, engineering projects, and infrastructure reliability. The role demands strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, utilities, refrigeration, boilers, automation, and preventive maintenance systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations, efficiency optimization, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end maintenance of manufacturing operations across Wet Technology, UHT processing, and Dry technology systems at our Gwalior plant.

- Ensure high equipment reliability for mixers, homogenizers, heat exchangers, spray dryers, UHT lines, filling & packaging systems.

- Drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs to achieve minimal downtime and improved OEE.

- Manage utilities including boilers, refrigeration systems, air compressors, WTP, ETP, and HVAC to ensure uninterrupted production.

- Oversee installation, commissioning, and performance optimization of new machinery and expansion projects.

- Implement energy-saving and cost-optimization initiatives across wet and dry processing lines.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, statutory, and audit requirements from a maintenance and engineering perspective.

- Lead and develop the engineering team while promoting safety, Kaizen, and continuous improvement culture.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering (MBA in Operations/Quality is an added advantage).

- Experience: 15 - 18 years of experience in plant maintenance and project engineering within food processing, dairy, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries.

- Strong exposure to utilities such as refrigeration systems, compressors, WTP, ETP, and automation systems.

- Experience in handling large-scale manufacturing plants and greenfield projects.

- Knowledge of SAP-based maintenance planning systems preferred.

- Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
