We are now seeking a Legal Head with strong expertise in real estate law to lead our legal function and ensure compliance, diligence, and protection of business interests. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the legal department and oversee all legal matters for real estate projects. - Conduct in-depth title due diligence, verify land records, and vet all property documents. - Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts including Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Development Agreements, Joint Ventures, and MoUs. - Ensure timely compliance with RERA, local municipal, and land revenue regulations. - Handle litigations, legal notices, and represent the company in legal forums. - Coordinate with external counsels, law firms, and regulatory bodies. - Provide legal risk assessments and strategic advice to the senior management. - Manage legal audits and ensure legal safeguards in all real estate transactions. Requirements: - LLB/LLM from a reputed institution. - 1012 years of post-qualification experience, with minimum 8 years in real estate law (mandatory). - Strong understanding of Karnataka property laws, RERA, and registration processes. - Proven experience in leading legal due diligence and high-value real estate transactions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Must be currently based in or willing to relocate to Central Bangalore.
