Head - Legal - Real Estate

We're hiring: Senior Legal Professional | Real Estate / REIT.

We are looking for a seasoned Legal professional to lead and manage end-to-end legal matters for a large real estate / REIT platform.

This role partners closely with leadership to provide strategic legal guidance, manage risk, and support business growth across assets and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all legal mandates in close coordination with the General Counsel.

- Draft, negotiate, and finalize lease deeds, leave & license agreements, and commercial contracts.

- Lead legal due diligence, documentation, and closures for acquisitions and divestments.

- Support equity fundraising activities, including transaction documentation and negotiations.

- Manage high-value litigation and coordinate with external counsel.

- Handle regulatory and legal notices, ensuring timely responses and compliance.

- Provide strategic legal advisory support to internal stakeholders.

- Review investor communications, disclosures, and periodic compliance reports.

- Track legal deliverables and provide regular updates to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

- Law graduate with 15+ years of experience (real estate / REIT exposure preferred).

- Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, labour, and contract law.

- Proven experience in litigation management, negotiations, and regulatory compliance.

- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external advisors.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
