About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Legal to lead and elevate our legal function across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, technology, trading, and business services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute legal strategies aligned with business goals.
- Advise executive leadership and ensure full legal compliance.
- Lead high-impact litigation, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Oversee corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Mentor and guide an agile legal team while working with top-tier external counsel.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; a Master's degree (LLM) or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
Experience:
15+ years of experience in legal roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, preferably within a multinational corporation or a large conglomerate.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Proven track record in managing complex legal disputes, negotiations, and regulatory issues.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing legal professionals.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership effectively.
