Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced legal professional to lead the legal function for a leading manufacturing organization. The role will serve as a strategic legal advisor to senior management while overseeing all legal, contractual, and litigation matters across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice to the leadership team on business and commercial matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Manage litigation and disputes in coordination with external counsel, ensuring effective legal risk mitigation.
- Advise on corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal issues impacting the business.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives while ensuring legal compliance.
- Develop legal strategies, policies, and risk management frameworks to protect the organization's interests.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified lawyer with 8-15 years of post-qualification experience.
- Manufacturing sector experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience in commercial contracting, litigation management, corporate laws, and providing legal advisory to senior management.
- Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
