Head - Legal - Manufacturing

Our client a global Manufacturing company is looking to hire a senior legal professional to lead the legal function for this organisation and its global subsidiaries. This is a high-impact leadership role involving strategic legal planning, end-to-end contract oversight, litigation management, regulatory compliance, and coordination across international operations. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking, deep legal expertise, and the ability to lead teams while managing complex legal matters across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement the overall legal strategy for the Company and its global subsidiaries, including driving the restructuring of the legal function.

- Lead contract management processes, ensuring comprehensive legal review and protection of the company's interests across all agreements.

- Manage all litigations and arbitrations, liaise with government and regulatory authorities, and represent the Group where required.

- Provide strategic legal guidance on M&A, compliance, and regulatory matters, and collaborate with business teams and external counsels.

- Oversee statutory compliance, risk management, and intellectual property protection, and establish strong legal systems and document management frameworks.

- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing legal team while aligning legal processes across domestic and international operations.

- Candidates from multiple product manufacturing industries would be preferred and ideally somebody from South India, Hyderabad, Chennai or Bangalore locations because local networking and local market knowledge is utmost important.
