Head - Legal - Corporate Law/Litigation

Job Description:

- Manage litigation, arbitration and dispute-resolution matters, including developing case strategy, coordinating with external counsel, managing filings, and drafting or vetting notices, replies, affidavits and pleadings within prescribed timelines.

- Oversee lease and property compliance by validating title deeds, lease agreements and due-diligence reports.

- Ensure that site acquisitions & infrastructure activities comply with applicable laws, licensing conditions and regulatory requirements.

- Draft and vet partner, vendor and commercial contracts for enforceability and risk mitigation, while monitoring compliance with labour laws, GST, PF, ESI and agreed obligations.

- Drive corporate and departmental compliance across HR, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations, including adherence to the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, labour laws, taxation requirements and regulations.

- Liaise with government ministries and regulatory or statutory authorities, represent the company in conciliation proceedings and negotiate settlements with landlords and local bodies.

- Advise management on new and amended laws, governance requirements, board resolutions, shareholder agreements, corporate strategy and enterprise risks.
