About the Role:

The company is seeking a dynamic and business-oriented legal professional for the role of Head of Legal (VP / Sr. VP). The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in corporate and commercial laws with a strategic mindset to support business growth, partnerships, and organizational governance.

This role requires a seasoned corporate lawyer with strong contract negotiation capabilities, strong understanding of intellectual property rights matters, and prior experience preferably within the IT / technology ecosystem. The incumbent will lead the legal function while closely partnering with leadership teams on high-value strategic transactions, large partnership agreements and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the organization's legal function along with a team of 2 lawyers.

- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize complex commercial agreements and high-value partnership contracts.

- Provide strategic legal guidance on corporate laws, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and business structuring.

- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across business operations.

- Handle matters related to data protection and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including trademarks, licensing, technology agreements, and protection of organizational assets.
