Role includes 1, Legal - Contract Management 2, Compliance 3, Data Privacy policies and governance, Data Privacy management and governance 5, Interface with Corporate Governance Bodies - Degree in Indian law (minimum qualification LLB, knowledge or certificate on French law is a plus); - Commercial legal experience in law firm(s) and/or in-house. - A previous Data Privacy / Compliance experience (at least Master graduate or equivalent - Legal or IT Security) is preferable - Minimum 6 years' solid legal experience in negotiation of contracts, with strong background in negotiating IT contracts (e.g. with software editors). - Understanding of customer activities to identify the risks and issues in their environment and implement efficient solutions with minimum impacts on the day-to-day work. - High level of understanding of Shared Services Business and related legal/regulatory items. - Ability to provide advice regarding legal matters in accordance with company strategy. - Ability to identify legal and reputational risks. - Delivering legally compliant documentation with favorable provisions and in line with best available market practice. - Transaction Management / Negotiation & Drafting Skills - Ability to negotiate and draft complex legal documentation in English. - Ability to draft internal presentations and memos for internal clients including General Secretary, CEO, CPO, CIO, CFO, Executive Committee, Board.
