Work Schedule: 6-day work week
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented Head of Legal to lead and manage the company's legal function. This role will be responsible for overseeing litigation, contracts, compliance, and strategic legal advisory including transactions while working closely with leadership to mitigate risk and enable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end legal function of the organization
- Manage and oversee all litigation matters, including coordination with external counsel
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and agreements
- Provide strategic legal advice to the CFO and senior leadership team
- Ensure regulatory compliance across operations
- Develop internal legal processes, documentation standards, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Support fundraising, corporate structuring, and board-level matters as required
- Manage and mentor the legal team
- Lead and manage end-to-end legal aspects of corporate transactions, including fundraising, M&A, strategic partnerships, and due diligence.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- LL.B. degree (mandatory)
- 10 - 15 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Strong understanding of Indian corporate and commercial laws
- Experience working in-house or advising high-growth companies is preferred
