Role Purpose :
The Head - Learning & Development will lead the group-wide L&D strategy, building future-ready leadership and capability frameworks aligned with the organisations growth agenda. This role will drive leadership development, functional capability building, digital learning adoption, and a strong learning culture across businesses.
Key Responsibilities :
1. L&D Strategy & Governance :
- Design and implement an integrated L&D strategy aligned with business goals across multiple businesses/verticals.
- Establish group-wide learning architecture, governance, and standards.
2. Leadership & Talent Development :
- Lead leadership development programs for senior leadership, high potentials, and succession pipelines.
- Partner with business heads on capability gaps and future skills.
3. Learning Architecture & Programs :
- Drive functional, technical, behavioural, and managerial learning programs.
- Oversee induction, onboarding, mid-career and senior leadership programs.
4. Digital & Innovation in Learning :
- Leverage digital learning platforms, LMS, AI-enabled learning, and blended learning models.
- Partner with external institutions, B-schools, and global learning partners.
5. Measurement & Impact :
- Define learning KPI's, ROI frameworks, and impact measurement linked to business outcomes.
- Use analytics to continuously improve learning effectiveness.
6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management :
- Lead a central L&D team and collaborate with HRBP's and business L&D leads.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on learning and capability building.
Candidate Profile :
- MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute (HR preferred).
- 15-20 years of experience in L&D within large corporates / conglomerates.
- Strong exposure to leadership development, digital learning, and multi-business environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
