Position Title: Head - Talent Management & Learning and Development (L&D)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead the Talent Management (TM) and Learning & Development (L&D) functions at the group level, with a strong focus on Leadership Development and Succession Planning. This is a strategic role that will be responsible for designing and driving initiatives that build future-ready leadership and capabilities across a large and diverse organization, particularly within the manufacturing/industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management & Succession Planning:
- Lead the succession planning and talent review strategy for approximately 5000 top leaders across the group.
- Implement structured frameworks for job evaluation, talent identification, and career pathing.
- Partner closely with leadership to identify, assess, and develop future leaders.
Learning & Leadership Development:
- Drive leadership development programs for first-time managers and above (targeting ~10000-12000 ndividuals).
- Design and deliver technical and functional skill-building interventions aligned to business goals.
- Leverage digital learning solutions and implement modern tools like LMS (Drawinbox) and LXP platforms to enhance learning engagement.
- Spearhead the adoption of AI-powered learning and knowledge solutions.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead a core team of 9 members, with additional indirect responsibility for plant-level HR/L&D representatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, HRBPs, and plant heads to ensure program effectiveness and adoption.
Manufacturing Focus:
- Apply a deep understanding of manufacturing and industrial workforce dynamics to customize learning and talent strategies.
- Develop scalable solutions that cater to the unique challenges and growth needs of a high-volume, distributed workforce.
What We're Looking For:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is mandatory.
- Proven success in managing large-scale succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Strong familiarity with digital learning tools (LMS/LXP), AI-based learning platforms, and modern knowledge management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage change at scale.
- Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities.
