Job Overview
Position: Head - International Business Development
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Reports To: Director - International Business
Industry: Pharmaceutical (Exports & International Sales)
The role is responsible for driving global sales growth, managing regulatory compliance, and overseeing end-to-end export operations in international markets.
Business Development
1. Develop strategic relationships with international distributors, importers, and government bodies.
2. Identify and expand into new global markets to drive international growth.
3. Represent the company at global trade fairs and industry forums.
4. Execute long-term international expansion strategies.
Regulatory & Compliance
1. Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (US FDA, EU GMP, WHO GMP, MHRA, TGA).
2. Coordinate product registrations, dossier submissions, and approvals.
3. Manage international certifications, licensing, and trade law compliance.
Sales & Export Operations
1. Oversee end-to-end export operations from order to shipment.
2. Manage contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
3. Coordinate with production, QC, and supply chain for timely deliveries.
4. Monitor international sales performance and revenue growth.
Export Documentation & Logistics
1. Supervise export documentation (Invoices, COA, MSDS, packing lists).
2. Ensure compliance with customs and shipping regulations.
3. Liaise with freight forwarders and 3PL partners for efficient logistics.
Customer & Financial Management
1. Maintain strong overseas client relationships and resolve post-shipment issues.
2. Support product launches and brand positioning.
3. Manage LC, credit terms, collections, and export profitability.
Key Requirements
1. Degree in Business/International Business/Marketing.
2. Strong knowledge of pharma export regulations and GMP compliance.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Willingness to travel internationally.
