Head - Industrial Relations - Manufacturing Firm

Position : Head-Industrial Relations (Leading MNC Manufacturing Company) (Mumbai)

Role :

- To head Plant IR for 5 Plants of the Company Pan-India

- Contract labour management and management of unionised employees

- Responsible for IR and manufacturing HR interventions, Employee Relations, discipline administration and Grievance handling, contractor cell management

- Administrating Wage Settlements with Union, Salary & Wages Administration, Full & Final Settlements, Gratuity, Leave, Bonus, Superannuation Settlement.

- Controlling absenteeism & late-coming for improving labour productivity

- Statutory Compliance of regulations

- Employee Engagement eg. Get-together, Annual Functions, Welfare Activities, etc.

- Keeping healthy liaison with govt., semi govt. authorities like W.C. Commissioner, Gram panchayat, Insurance, Police Station, Banks, P.F. Office, Factory Inspector, Labour Inspector, Pollution Control, Police Authority, Local bodies etc.

- Preparing monthly MIS reports

- Apprentice Trainee Program management, Summer Intern

Requirements :

- Full-Time MBA - HR/ MSW

- 18-27 years of experience in Plant IR in a manufacturing company

- In-depth exposure to various functions in plant IR

- Should have managed Plant IR for multiple Plants

- Experience in management of unionised employees and contract labour management

- Experience in Wage Settlements with Union

- Experience in handling Plant closures and setting up of new plant will be a plus

- Good Communication Skills

- Ability to influence stakeholders
