Role Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head HR to lead the Human Resources function for a textile manufacturing setup. The role involves driving HR strategy, managing industrial relations, ensuring statutory compliance, and building a high-performance workforce across plant and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business and production goals
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
Industrial Relations (IR):
- Manage union relations, wage negotiations, and long-term settlements
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensure a harmonious work environment across plant operations
Talent Management:
- Oversee recruitment for plant and corporate roles
- Drive onboarding, training, and retention strategies
- Build leadership pipeline and succession planning
Compliance & Statutory:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, PF, ESI, CLRA, Minimum Wages, etc.)
- Liaise with government authorities and handle inspections/audits
Performance & Culture:
- Implement performance management systems and KPIs
- Drive employee engagement and productivity initiatives
Compensation & Payroll:
- Oversee payroll, compensation structures, and benefits administration
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in wage processing
HR Operations:
- Manage HR policies, HRMS, attendance, and documentation
- Lead audits, reporting, and HR analytics
Required Experience:
- 12-15 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing/textile industry
- Strong experience in Industrial Relations and plant HR
Educational Qualification:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources / IR / Personnel Management
- Additional certifications in labor laws or IR will be an advantage
