The Role:
SAROM is looking for an experienced, commercially driven HR leader who can take complete ownership of the HR function and work closely with the management as a strategic business partner.
We are looking for someone who brings strong HR expertise, sound business understanding and the ability to provide management with valuable insights on people, processes, productivity and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete HR function including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, HR operations and compliance.
- Partner with Directors and functional heads on manpower planning, organisational structure, people strategy and business requirements.
- Understand business processes across functions, identify gaps, inefficiencies and people-related challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
- Establish clear KRAs, KPIs, roles, responsibilities and accountability across the organisation.
- Strengthen recruitment, talent retention, succession planning and leadership development.
- Develop effective HR policies, SOPs, systems and processes that support business growth.
- Create meaningful HR MIS and dashboards covering manpower, productivity, attrition, performance and employee costs.
- Bring relevant industry benchmarks, best practices and fresh perspectives to the management.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, professionalism and performance.
- Handle employee relations and sensitive people matters with maturity, fairness and strong business judgement.
- Ensure robust HR governance, documentation and statutory compliance.
What We Are Looking For:
- 10 - 15 years of strong, hands-on HR experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent understanding of HR as well as business processes and organisational functioning.
- Proven experience working closely with Founders / Promoters / Directors / Senior Management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Someone who can challenge existing practices, ask the right questions and bring actionable insights to management.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Practical, mature and solution-oriented approach.
- Experience in a promoter-driven, entrepreneurial, trading, textile, manufacturing, retail or home-furnishing environment will be an advantage.
